Nathan Norberg
I am a San Jose native and I grew up in Naglee Park. I attended local public schools, graduated from Lincoln High School, then received my BA in Politics from UC Santa Cruz. After college, I spent time traveling and working abroad, working as as a nanny in Washington DC and two campaign seasons as a political organizer in Sunnyvale and Watsonville.
In 1997, I got my license and joined my stepmom, Georgie at Capital Properties. I began as the on-site sales associate at Carnegie Square in downtown San Jose and after closing out the last two phases of that new development, I transitioned to working full time with buyers and sellers. Early in my career I helped many teachers buy their first homes around San Jose and Georgie and I taught home buying seminars for the San Jose Teacher First Time Buyer program. I have gone on to earn my Brokers License and over the years, my range of clients has broadened to include buyers and sellers across six counties on properties ranging from downtown condominiums to historic homes to rural land.
Each home buyer and seller has unique goals and I pride myself on being a good listener, a frank communicator and a trustworthy adviser in the home buying/selling process. I enjoy my role because every transaction is an opportunity to help someone navigate an important moment in their life and the trust they place in me is a privilege.
I live in the Rose Garden with my wife, two kids, two dogs and a hamster. Outside of real estate, I enjoy playing guitar, running, and both playing adult soccer and coaching youth soccer. I also love nearly any activity that gets me outdoors, be it camping, snow skiing, sailing or a dog-walk around the neighborhood.
